Ya vaya a hacer un corto viaje de negocios o se vaya de vacaciones, un seguro de viaje de nuestra empresa asociada Allianz Travel le permite viajar con tranquilidad. Puede contratar el seguro al reservar su billete o a través de Mi Viaje si ya ha reservado. Tenga en cuenta que esto solo es posible para los billetes reservados directamente con nosotros.
Tipos de seguros
Usted decide el tipo de seguro que prefiere, así que elija el que se adapte a su situación de viaje y a sus necesidades.
Seguro de cancelación y asistencias
Consiga el seguro más completo que cubre:
- La cancelación o el cambio de su vuelo en caso de imprevistos
- Los gastos médicos que realice en el extranjero en caso de enfermedad o accidente
- Equipaje extraviado, robado o dañado
- Reembolso de gastos ocasionados por demora en viaje
Puede adquirir el seguro de Cancelación y Asistencias al reservar o a través de Mi Viaje hasta 24 horas después de reservar su billete. Procure leer detenidamente la cobertura exacta y las condiciones creadas por Allianz Travel antes de contratar su seguro de cancelación y asistencias.
Seguro de cancelación
¿Necesita cancelar o cambiar su viaje incluso antes de que comience debido a algún imprevisto? Con el seguro de cancelación, obtendrá una compensación por el precio de su billete, las opciones adicionales y los gastos por cambio.
Si te ves obligado a anular tu viaje o reprogramarlo por uno de los eventos cubiertos de los que se enumeran a continuación, nosotros te pagaremos los gastos no reembolsables por tu viaje, depósitos, tarifas de cancelación y costes de tasas de cambio, hasta el límite máximo que figura en tu Resumen de Cobertura (menos el deductible).

Travel insurance may to protect you from certain financial risks and losses that can occur while traveling. Trip cancellation and interruption benefits can reimburse you for non-refundable, pre-paid trip costs (up to the amount of your policy limits) should your trip be cancelled or interrupted for a covered reason. Depending on the travel insurance you purchase, insurance can also provide you with crucial assistance in a medical emergency; reimburse you for losses caused by a covered travel delay, baggage delay or baggage loss/damage; and help in other situations as well (listed in the Terms and Conditions).
Non-refundable costs may include pre-paid trip deposits/payments related to services purchased with KLM that would be lost if you had to cancel prior to trip departure for a covered reason.
This travel insurance policy is designed for you if you are an individual booking one or more flight tickets on the KLM website to travel to any destinations offered by KLM (except destinations excluded by the insurance policy) and if you wish to be protected against potential unforeseen events beyond your control, which could occur before or during your trip.
To be eligible for the insurance, you must be a resident of the United Kingdom.
This insurance policy is not suitable for you if:
- You participate in certain extreme sports activities or sports competitions during your trip
- You wish to cover multiple trips within the year
- Your trip has already started
- Your trip takes place in a country excluded by the insurance policy
- You already have another insurance policy that provides the same cover
Depending on the travel insurance you purchase, your policy can provide benefits for a number of situations that may occur before or during your trip. These benefits may include:

The travel insurance policy only covers people who are named as being insured on the certificate of insurance. Family members and/or travel companions are not covered unless they’re named in the certificate of insurance.
Travel insurance is offered as an option when purchasing your flight tickets. All you have to do is add it to your basket and your tickets will be insured as soon as your purchase has been made.
You can submit a policy cancellation request via KLM +44 20 76 60 02 93. You will be issued a refund if you cancel within the policy cancellation period shown in your confirmation email, provided no claim has been made and your trip has not started.
The insurance policy number is shown in the confirmation e-mail you have received and in the certificate of insurance provided to you after purchasing your insurance.
